I have three cats right now and hope for it to stay that way for a long time. Two of these cats were shy adults that I adopted from the shelter I work with. They'd been there for 2 1/2 years and were deeply bonded. I wanted a couple of cats, so I figured it would be a good choice for both them and me. I adopted Chynna, now Yue, and Cupid, now Tsuki. Yue has decided that she loves attention, but Tsuki is still incredibly shy. I hope to bring her out of her shell, but for right now it's alright.
I realised that my doggie was lonely during the day so I decided to adopt her a kitten (she dislikes other dogs, and a kitten would be able to grow up with her and thus would be ok with her rambunctiousness). I took a young male orange tabby that I named Mwezi. He was such a hellion! Unfortunately, I lost him at 6 months to Cardiomyopathy.
Not long after his death, I found out that the pound had been given new restrictions by the state and were being forced to put down a vast majority of their animals. I felt guilty at the thought of "replacing" Mwezi, but I went in anyways and met 8 month old Jackson. I weighed the pros and cons and decided to take him home. On Halloween 2002 I took home little Taki. He's gigantic now. The original plan did work, and now he and Maza are good friends. They play all the time and even sleep together. He even helped bring Yue and Maza together so now they cuddle up.
I have other pets (4 guinea pigs and a hampster) but lack pictures, so their descriptions will be added later.
